What's on offer in new vintage clothes shop in prime Cardiff location

Mar 24, 2024

All sorts of big brands are on sale

A small chain shop selling vintage clothing has opened in The Hayes in Cardiff marking its first store in Wales. Beyond Retro already has four locations in London as well as one each in Brighton and Bristol but is now open in the Welsh capital.

Brands like Adidas and Levi are on sale in the new shop which even has a range of wedding dresses in stock. The chain, which also sells clothes online, says it provides "authenticity, sustainability, and beautifully curated clothing at a good price" and "a dazzling celebration of style through the decades".

The new shop opened opposite the St David's Centre entrance to The Hayes on Saturday, August 26. The chain's director of retail Kate Peters said: "Cardiff's fashion and cultural scene is so creative and diverse; we think our expansive trend-led collection will really resonate with the city. The new location is the perfect spot for our large-scale sustainable fashion offering and Newmark Retail’s support has been vital in securing it."
